Always Warm Up Before Exercise

You’ve heard it a million times “Always Warm-up before exercise”, in fact I’d take it a step further – “Always Loosen up, even before you start your warm-up exercises”. The best way to loosen up is to go through a few effective dynamic stretches throughout your whole body. We need to warm up the muscles, ligaments, tendons and get the fluid moving in the joints. You need to warm up before you start those warm up exercises, I’ve seen it in the Gym when people start their warm up a little too vigorously and tweak a muscle before they’ve even started training.

The goal of Your Warm-up is to help prevent injury, certainly not to cause one. Take your warm up exercises seriously and you’ll help keep yourself certainly help avoid injury. It makes no difference if you are training in the Gym, on the sports field or at home. Wherever and whenever you are exercising or involved with an activity that involves exercise – WARM UP before hand!

Starting February 1st – 14 Days of Fitness for FREE
